Part-time pension – you might have heard of it. It means you continue working while at the same time retiring on a part-time basis. Your part-time pension cannot start before you turn 60. Why would you take part-time pension?
You can, if you wish. Your pension is calculated on the basis of a standard retirement age. At our pension fund, that age is 67. But of course, you can retire earlier – from the day you turn 60.
Every year, we recalculate whether we can increase your pension to keep up with rising prices. To establish whether prices have gone up, we take the consumer price index for households in the Netherlands as published by Statistics Netherlands (CBS). The price index for June 2024 was higher in comparison with that of October 2023.
